LTD COMPANY TAX RETURN & ANNUAL ACCOUNTS
The Financial Statement Submission service includes the preparation of year end accounts and filing these with Companies House. The price varies depending on the type of accounts required to be filed with Companies House. The Company Tax Return service includes calculating your company's tax liability for your approval, submitting the tax return electronically to HMRC and advising you of tax payments as they become due.
VAT RETURNS
I am willing to go on record and say that VAT returns are actually quite interesting. Are you with me? No? VAT Returns are more than just filing a load of numbers. I take a 5 step approach to it to keep you aware of your VAT liabilities and keep HMRC happy!

1. Create a recurring quarterly job in our job management system so we NEVER miss a deadline and begin work on the VAT return the day after the quarter ends

2. Carry out an audit of ALL transactions for the period - check that purchase VAT has been claimed on every transaction that it should have been and conversely that it hasn't been claimed where it shouldn't have been
​
3. Ensure that you are on the best scheme to maximise your cashflow - Cash or Accruals. Also keep an eye on going over the threshold at which you HAVE to move to accruals by obligation

4. Send you notification of the amount due and give you notice of the amount to be taken automatically via direct debit
​
5. File the VAT return on time, every time​
PAYROLL
So you are paying yourself or you have employees, but it's not always as straightforward as transferring money out of the business bank account. We need to ensure this is being filed with HMRC on a timely basis, that Income Tax and National Insurance is been calculated correctly and that pension contributions are accounted for correctly.
Using HMRC approved software, I will sort this for you and make sure any reliefs that are available are being claimed and that starters and leavers are being processed correctly.
I can also help you work out what the optimum remuneration strategy for you is. It's not always as easy as just pay yourself dividends and there are wider impacts on your tax situation. So let's have a chat about getting you paid!
Additionally, we need to make sure you are fulfilling your legal obligations as an employer from a documentation and policy perspective. There's more to think about then you may realise!
